PROOF: The image shows a biopsy of the epidermis before and after micro-needling therapy. Significant new collagen (dyed purple) has been generated, 6 weeks after a single treatment.

Microneedling is a credible alternative to ablative therapies such as laser therapy. It is more comfortable, and has a much shorter healing time (your skin will be pink  and feel warm. depends on the depth on the treatment, this redness will go away within 1-3 days).

Micro-needling Collagen Induction therapy with the eDermaStamp® is clinically proven and is perhaps the most successful treatment available for the common signs and symptoms of aging such as wrinkles, loss of skin volume, and crepey skin, including minimizing scars and stretch marks. CIT triggers the body’s spontaneous healing process, stimulating cell proliferation and causing the formation of new collagen. This results in a thicker, more supple, cellular matrix. Results: visibly younger looking skin.

Our Micro-needling VS Others

Certified Medical-Grade Equipment
The eDermaStamp®  is ISO13485 certified (certified medical device), meeting all standards for medical-grade equipment in manufacturing, materials, sterile packaging and more.
Safest Micro-Needles
The medical-grade micro-needles of the eDermaStamp® are atraumatic (non-traumatic) cone-shaped needles that displace the skin during the puncture process, creating a micro-wound that seals within minutes of treatment. Poorer quality roller devices are made with knife-shaped needles that slice through tissue and risk causing traumatic skin, vessel and nerve damage. Poor quality needles also require increased pressure, making for a more painful treatment.
Fastest Motor on the Market
At 150 strokes per second (the fastest on the market!) the eDermaStamp® can safely glide over the skin without scratching or tearing the skin. Poor quality micro-needling pens which operate at a slower insertion rate (100 to 120 strokes per second) can cause scratches and micro-tears in the tissue as the tip moves across the face. The result can be increased epidermal damage and increased risk of infection.
Non Ablative
Where other scar and anti-aging treatments are ablative (destroying tissue), the eDermaStamp® respects the integrity of the epidermis and dermis, using atraumatic (non-traumatic) perforations to gently trigger the generation of new tissue.
Optimal Needle Count
Don’t be mislead by imitation rollers that boast “the most needles”. Though we want to maximize the number of perforations, too many needles compromises the safety and comfort of the treatment. Imagine a bed of nails: while a bed of nails can easily support your body weight without a nail perforating your skin, a single nail would easily penetrate your skin under the same pressure. Similarly, a roller with too many needles will require dangerous and uncomfortable amounts of pressure in order to penetrate the skin to the appropriate depth. The eDermaStamp® employs the optimal number of needles to maximize effectiveness, safety and comfort.
Electric vs. Battery
The eDermaStamp® is built for consistency. As an electric device, it outputs consistent power which means consistent performance. A battery operated device outputs inconsistent power. As the battery starts to wear out, the tip will slow down and the results can be unwanted micro tears and scratching of the skin.
Licensed By Health Canada
The eDermaStamp® is licensed by Health Canada. There are countless imitation products on the market that are not licensed by Health Canada so we recommend you do your research, to protect your health and safety.
FAQ
Does it hurt to have micro-needling?
Your comfort is our priority, therefore investing in equipment that ensures you are at ease throughout all treatments. By using automated micro-needling devices, we dramatically reduce any discomfort. As such no topical anaesthetics are needed with most patients likening it to someone running a fingertip over their skin.

At what age should I start micro-needling?
You will see the most benefit from early 30s and onward. People in their late 30s – 40s onwards will usually benefit from more regular sessions (every 3-4 months).

Where can I have micro-needling?
The most popular areas for anti-ageing are the face, neck and hands, or anywhere on the body where you seek improvements to skin quality, tone and texture. Acne treatments for closed acne scars are often to the face and back. Stretch marks and scar correction can be anywhere on the body.

How many sessions will I need before I see a difference?
We use a combination of specialized serums and medical grade micro-needling to the correct depth to rejuvenate your skin. As such we often fast track the result, getting subtle improvements within 1-2 sessions. For deeper scars and fine lines, it will typically take 3-6 courses for peak results.
**note: It takes 40 days for new skin cells to migrate from the basal layer to the surface layer – it’s this natural process that we are encouraging that creates the delay between treatment and results.

Do I need extra sessions of micro-needling to maintain my results?
Once you have achieved the result you are after (typically in 3-6 sessions), we recommend a single session every 3-6 months depending on your skin tone. This will help to promote and maintain your new fresher and healthier skin tone.
